Il corso è strutturato in due parti: GRAMMAR e ESP, acronimo di English for Specific Purposes.
La parte GRAMMAR consiste di video con slide di grammatica a livello B2 CEFR per introdurre gli studenti e le studentesse ai principali aspetti fonetici, morfologici, sintattici e semantici della Lingua Inglese. Gli esercizi svolti durante le lezioni si riferiscono al testo English Grammar in Use (Cambridge University Press). Alla fine di ogni argomento è presente un breve quiz con lo scopo di testare il vostro livello di conoscenza e prepararvi all'esame finale.
La parte ESP consiste di una serie di attività interattive che riguardano l'inglese specialistico del campo di studio del corso per fornire agli studenti e alle studentesse strumenti descrittivi e metalinguistici che possano fornire loro consapevolezza linguistica e una riflessione sulla lingua inglese attraverso materiali autentici relativi al campo di studio e ai campi professionali. Le attività sono organizzate per argomenti e includono esercizi di Listening Comprehension con video interattivi; Reading Comprehension e attività per l'apprendimento del Lessico specifico (Vocabulary).

The course is organised in two main parts: GRAMMAR and ESP, wich stands for English for Specific Purposes.
The GRAMMAR part consists of video slides with grammar instruction at the B2 CEFR level to introduce students to the main phonological, morphological, syntactical and semantic aspects of the English language. The related excercises refer to the textbook English Grammar in Use (Cambridge University Press). At the end of each topic there is a short quiz designed to test your level of knowledge and prepare you for the final exam.
The ESP part consists of a series of interactive activities regarding English for the specific field of the course to provide students with the descriptive and metalinguistic tools to foster language awareness and reflection on the English language by means of the study of authentic materials related to their field of study and to possible applications in professional domains. The activities are organised by topics and include Listening Comprehension activities with interactive videos; Reading Comprehension and Vocabulary activities.
